Vodotech, spol. sr.o. is the result of the merger Ovod, spol. sr.o. dated on 5 May 2017. The subject of business activities is registered in the Commercial Register of the Regional Court in Ostrava, Section C, File 8486, dated on 13 July 1995.

Since 2008 the only shareholder is AQUALIA INTECH, S.A. from Spain. AQUALIA INTECH, S.A. is a member of the aqualia group. Its core business is construction of water networks and sewage systems, designing and construction of drinking water plants, treatment of municipal wastewater, reuse of water and desalination of sea water. aqualia is a part of FCC Group, the leading Spanish group that is involved in public services and ranks among most active companies on the global market.

Core business of Vodotech, spol. s r.o.:

  • repair, production and verification of water meters for apartments, households and wholesale customers
  • validation of water meters during validity of certificates, calibrations and informative testing of water meters
  • purchase and sale of water meters incl. equipment
  • reading of water meters
  • smart metering – smart grids for remote reading of water meters

Vodotech has been carrying on the business on the basis of a trade licence issued under ref. no. 380600-41291/02 and 380601-10861-01, issued by the Trade Licence District Office in Opava and registration certificate No. 7001-OR-0012-08, issued by the District Office of the Czech Metrology Institute in Opava and authorisation No. 676/00/20, issued by the Institute for Normalisation and Metrology in Prague.

Vodotech was certified pursuant to ISO 9001:2009 for following areas:

  • Sale of water meters incl. equipment, attachments and fitting
  • Repair, assembly and verification of water meters
