I
n 2017, we implemented the follow-up pilot projects of smart remote reading of water meters in cooperation with the company Severomoravské vodovody a kanalizace Ostrava (SmVaK Ostrava).Data transmission is provided by SigFox and LoRa wireless networks, enabling technologically advanced data transmission for less energy-intensive devices.
By these projects we primarily focus on meter readings in shafts, where we try to eliminate safety risks of work during physical meter readings.
This solution was implemented in municipalities – Horní Datyně, Horní Žukov, Mistrovice. These were hundreds of installed units.
